City Select Bassinet Kit

New babies can’t sit upright by themselves in stroller seats, so many parents solve that problem by clipping the car seat into the stroller. However, the pram has a lot more wiggle room than the car seat and may be more fun and peaceful for baby to ride in! Plus, it looks amazing.

Of course, the downside is you’ll have to wake baby up to get them in and out of the car. But the pram’s useful as well as decorative. It’s perfect for discrete outfit and diaper changes, and you can put a pacifier down beside baby without worrying about losing it. Keep in mind that it’s not intended for overnight sleeping.

Keep in mind that you’ll need to use the frame and hood of the regular stroller set to make this bassinet complete. In other words, it doesn’t work all by itself, you have to have pieces from the City Select stroller specifically. Measure your baby’s size against the size of the bassinet; tall babies (above the 90th percentile) may outgrow this bassinet before the six month limit.

The mattress that comes with it is a little bit minimal, so some parents supplement it with an additional mattress pad (standard bassinet sizes work just fine). You can snap on the bassinet to be facing in either direction, and easily switch back to seat mode when baby gets older. It’s a fun addition to your City Select stroller!
